We sampled some excellent wine and olive oil at Tenuta Barbadoro on a winery tour in October 2024, with those rolling Tuscan views all around us. It’s a wonderful multi-generational family business. The bottles were a little beyond our budget, especially with shipping to the U.S. costing something like 60-70 Euros. They told us they sell to restaurants in New York only, and I wish I could get their wine in the southeast U.S.

The tasting was amazing. We walked around the house and tried wine, olive oil, salami and cheese, all so delicious that we bought a few bottles. Definitely recommended.

This was our favorite winery of the Tuscany tour, and we’ll be back. As we drove up the gravel lane, the family welcomed us with smiles and waves, and their hospitality made the visit memorable. The winery view was beautiful, and every wine we tasted was amazing. Everyone in our tour group bought some. We took home six bottles. Such a hidden gem while visiting Tuscany or heading from Florence toward Pisa.

They fit all nine of us in for a full tasting at the last minute, including our three little kids. Such kind people, and the wine and olive oil were great. Amazing experience, thank you!

We had a lovely afternoon at Tenuta Barbadoro. The family shared helpful details about every wine we tasted, and we even got to meet their gorgeous dogs. The wine was incredible. Highly recommend.
