The views are amazing, and the property and pools are beautiful. But we found the hospitality poor and the staff unmotivated, which made the place feel more like an Airbnb than a hotel. We spent two nights here on a two-week road trip through Italy, and it's one of the few places we wouldn't book again. Maybe we should have researched more carefully, since we expected a hotel, though booking through Expedia made that hard to tell.

The houses were a huge disappointment, with awful furnishings, no internet, no hair dryer, and too few dishes and pieces of cutlery. Absolutely terrible!

A good place to get away from large cities and crowds. The old wooden furniture, big fireplaces, marble stairs, and cracked doors make it feel like a real Roman villa from another time. There are stylish cottages to rent too. It's far from the sea, and it doesn't really feel like an agriturismo.

The views are amazing, and there are two great pools. The rooms are nice too, though the pillows could be better. All in all, a lovely place in Monteverdi Marittimo.

The villa is beautiful up in the mountains, the food was delicious, the thermal baths were excellent, and the staff were quite friendly. It was a long way away, though, about 40-60 minutes.
