The owners were friendly, and the house was great, with a garden and pool. It’s around 700 metres from the center of Monticiano, and sleeps 8-10 people. I’d definitely stay there again.

A beautiful place, with fantastic owners. And the restaurant is amazing!

The garden and large pool were lovely, and the owner cleaned the pool every morning. The house is fenced all around, set in nature, and has five double bedrooms and three bathrooms, so the layout works well. We were eight, and the upstairs kitchen had a big dining area but no utensils. We only used its fridge for drinks. Downstairs there’s a large living room, though the kitchen there is small, which made things feel a bit cramped at times. The large dishwasher was a real help with a group our size. The showers are small, but there’s a bathtub upstairs. You can expect ants, little lizards, and tiny biting flies around the pool since the property is surrounded by nature. I’m not fond of insects or animals, but it didn’t bother me much and was all tolerable. Shopping is available in the nearby town. The driveway is bumpy, which seems quite normal in Italy. It’s a good option for larger groups, and with the grill and pizza oven you can easily cook for yourselves.
