Pulciano Apartments

The food and the care from the chef and staff were wonderful. Everyone was attentive and thoughtful, and the welcome made us feel special from the start. GH Borgo Pulciano was the highlight of our recent trip. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and we loved the sunset from our balcony. I'd love to return and stay longer.

It cost a bit more than I expected, and the meal was disappointing. The rabbit sauce was very good, though there wasn't much meat in it. The ribs were fatty and tough, with little meat too, so we skipped dessert. We had to pay in cash because there was no Visa connection. The place itself had looked lovely on the website.

The grounds are quite lovely, the rooms are nice, and there are two clean pools with plenty of space for kids. It has everything you need. Breakfast costs €7 per person per day and isn't included; it was just okay, not really good. The staff were helpful, though not very friendly. The big issue for us was the parties they host, including birthdays. Our night was loud like a disco, and it went on all night. They didn't seem to consider families staying there, and we hadn't been warned. My complaints about the noise were ignored. This felt more like a hotel complex connected with the Garibaldi hotel group than a usual agriturismo. We won't return, and families with little children looking for a restful holiday should avoid it.

A beautiful view and two amazing pools make this a great spot for a restful holiday or an event. The restaurant chef has a distinctive style, and his dishes are a real treat.
