The description on Booking didn’t match what we found. It said there were two bedrooms, but there was just a curtain separating the sleeping area. The studio was also described as having another bedroom, when in reality it was one room with a sofa and a bed for a teenager. The unchanged linen in the studio was the thing that was actually “dirty.” Then they had the nerve to claim 300 euro for damage to the property. Very unprofessional. Such a disappointing stay in a beautiful country like Italy.

The apartment looks nice, but I don’t think I’d stay there again in Monza. The double room has only a curtain for privacy, not a door, and the mattresses were so uncomfortable that I had to put a pillow in a dip to make the surface flat. We all woke up with back pain. There wasn’t even one soap bar for the dishwasher when we wanted to use it. It’s actually a basement, with grass at nose height when you open the window. The ceilings are low, and the oversized chandelier hangs about 1.70 m above the floor.

Booking.com approved my cancellation after I called right after making a mistaken reservation, but the property manager refused it. I hadn’t even held the booking for five minutes. Sure, they have that right, but courtesy is a different thing. The manager wouldn’t let me contact them during the whole exchange. Meanwhile, the front desk sent unprofessional WhatsApp messages to my number with smiley faces. I’m your customer, not your friend. Well, I won’t be your customer anymore.

The price felt fair and in line with what I expected. The place has every comfort and is well located for getting around the Milan hinterland. Staff were very friendly and ready to meet guests’ needs. An excellent place to stay.

The staff were courteous and, above all, available when needed. It’s an excellent point of reference, and the property itself is remarkable.
