I Barbasse

The apartments had what we needed for a properly restful stay. It’s a lovely place tucked into greenery, with a pool and a big private park. I’d happily recommend it.

We found the apartments inside especially charming, with careful finishes, stone walls and wooden ceilings. They feel like little homes from a century ago, and would suit families well. Outside, the stone and wood give the building a classic country look, while the green park and pool make a refreshing place to unwind. The setting among the moraine hills has its own appeal too. A great fit for couples or families, and highly recommended.

Autunno was the apartment we stayed in, and it had everything we needed. The attic has a lovely view over the pool. Lorenza was so kind and helpful, and she also gives several unfortunate cats a home and looks after them. The house, the welcome and the beautiful setting all exceeded what we expected. It’s a relaxing place to enjoy the countryside. You can cycle about 2 km to Castellaro Lagusello, which is worth seeing, and Borghetto and Valeggio are also nearby. Lorenza shared lots of useful suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves nature and needs a break from a hectic, stressful routine.

There’s a pool and a generous garden, and lots of friendly company around. The apartments have been thoughtfully restored in a late 19th-century country style, with stone walls, terracotta floors and old beams where possible, along with period furniture. It feels like stepping back in time in a little green paradise.
