1727 B&B La via degli Dei

A few weeks have passed since my stay, but I still wanted to leave a review. The owners are lovely, and the apartment was spotless and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen. It’s arranged over two levels. There are a few grocery stores within walking distance, plus at least one restaurant, though I didn’t try it.

We got to know people and, through them, a little more of the world. These days everyone talks about seeking experiences, and we really did live one. Thank you! We were swept into a world that feels almost lost, full of kind people, smiles, and wonderful stories. There were stories of great-grandmothers in their nineties buying a new Fiat 500, skippers and Caribbean distilleries, and “hard” wines that make you wince, made where marble goes into some of the world’s finest homes. We even imagined 25-ton shipments of meat crossing the globe to feed people, and people raised in the lovely places where Eleonora Duse lived. It all added up to a magical kind of journey. If you’re open to sharing it and letting yourself be carried along, it gives you something priceless. Thanks for the welcome, Susanna, Cinzia and Davide, and good to see Anna, Georgia and Niccolo.

You can reach this place right as you enter Monzuno, directly on the Via Degli Dei, so there’s no need to leave the route. The cleanliness and little details are excellent. Breakfast is generous and very good. Highly recommended for anyone walking the trail.

Susanna was so kind and helpful, and there was plenty to eat at breakfast. The B&B is clean and welcoming, and its spot works really well for walking the Path of the Gods. I’d happily recommend it.
