B&B NiloSira

We were on half-board and got to try typical Apulian food, expertly cooked with quality ingredients and generous portions. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of sweet and savory choices, especially good desserts. The place has a real family feel, and we felt at home. Danilo was delightful and always ready with advice or help to make the stay enjoyable. We were on the top floor in a spacious room, with terrace access and lovely sunset views. The room was spotless and the cleaning staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in August 2025 in a quiet residential hamlet. The recently renovated outdoor area is charming, with children's play equipment, chaise longues, swings, sofas, and a waterfall with lights. There's also a great value for money and a strategic base for visiting the southwest Salento coast, from Leuca to Gallipoli.

The food was a highlight. There are eight rotating menus, each with a first and second course, seafood or meat, plus two vegetable or potato sides. The quality was exceptional, especially the fish. I loved the tuna steak, and dishes like orecchiette with turnip tops were there too. Breakfast felt like being at grandma's, with homemade tarts, ring cakes, chocolate rolls, and even tiramisu, alongside fresh fruit, ham, croissants, yogurt, and the usual hot drinks. Danilo made the stay even better. He's kind, tireless, courteous, and generous. When we had a small car problem he offered to help, and he had fried calamari made just for me, since I would otherwise have missed it after leaving that morning. The rooms were very nice and, above all, CLEAN. Every time we came back from the beach, that clean smell hit us as soon as we walked in. There's air conditioning, a TV, fridge, and a terrace with a clothesline, chairs, a little table, and an ashtray. Towels are changed whenever you like, just put them in the bathroom basket and clean ones come back smelling lovely. My boyfriend and I were at Nilosira from August 16th to August 23rd, and it was so relaxing. The quiet location is convenient for Ionian beaches like Torre Vado, Pescoluse, Posto Vecchio, Torre Pali, and Lido Marini, around 15 minutes by car. The Adriatic beaches take longer, about 30 minutes to Castro or an hour to Porto Badisco. There's also a relaxation area with slides and swings for little ones, plus tables and seesaws. If you want to relax and enjoy Salento, Nilosira is a great fit. Danilo greets you with a sincere smile, makes you feel at home, and leaves you a little sad to say goodbye. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Dinner and breakfast were always excellent, and there is a lovely dining room plus a peaceful outdoor area to relax. The B&B is splendid, clean, and well looked after, in a quiet spot with easy access to both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. Danilo is fantastic, friendly, approachable, and always available, as is the rest of the staff. We had a wonderful stay and felt at home. We'll definitely return.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed, with a nice little terrace set up with a table, chairs, and a drying rack. It's a quiet place with a family atmosphere and a pleasant area for relaxing. Danilo was friendly, helpful, and always available. The location is excellent for getting quickly to Salento's fantastic destinations. Everything was top-notch.
