We were cycling through and ended up sharing such lovely company with Mauro and Mariella. Their warmth and the stories they told us made the stop feel special. The house has lots of thoughtful little details, and there are sweet cats and horses you can pet. So glad we met them. We’d love to swap more stories someday. The conversations with Mauro and Mariella, the laughter, and the memories we shared have stayed with me. Thinking back on that time, I notice myself breathing more deeply. It felt like a reminder of what matters in our lives and in our connections with each other. This place lets you slow down and simply arrive as you are, away from the rush of the world. I felt as if I were waking up in a rain forest while still in a village, walking on the ground and somehow being in the sky. I hope anyone reading this finds somewhere to relax deeply and experience the honest, open way of being that Anita and I found with Mariella and Mauro.

The apartment was spotless, and the hosts were attentive whenever we needed anything. We got a bit warm, so Mauro and Mariela put a fan in the room before we came back, which was just right. They also gave us a wonderful mix of Piedmont and Argentina through their hospitality, and the whole stay was a fantastic experience. It’s a great base for exploring the Langhe and its beautiful valleys. A big thank you for the adventure. Go, and you’ll want to come back 🙂.
