Hotel Alpenland

Cool place.

I celebrated my birthday here with my family, and it felt truly magical. The scenery is beautiful even in the depths of winter, and that season let us really appreciate both the nature around us and the hotel's wonderful hospitality. The staff were attentive and very kind. Everything, from the shared spaces to the rooms and spa, was looked after with care. We chose half-board, with breakfast and dinner, and were thoroughly spoiled by the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s skill. The spa is comfortable and very well maintained, with breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks. A lovely choice for a romantic, relaxing break surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a dream weekend here, about half an hour from Mernao, away from mass tourism. The place was meticulously maintained, relaxing, and had a beautiful spa and magnificent views. The service was superb, and the food excellent. It’s run in what you might call true Passirian style. There’s covered parking, and the Pfelders ski lifts are a 15-minute drive away. It’s also a great base for hiking. Highly recommended, and we hope to return in summer.

My partner and I were very satisfied with our one-night stay at the Alpenland Hotel. It’s partly renovated and partly older, but the mix of vintage and modern works well. The spa and sauna are nicely kept and were definitely the highlight. Dinner and breakfast were also more than good. What we really didn’t like was how rude the staff were when giving us directions. At dinner, they plainly served us more roughly and as if we were second-rate compared with the other German guests. We felt it was because we’re Italian, although we also come from Trentino-Alto Adige. This shouldn’t happen in 2026. It’s a real shame to be treated this way.
