I felt right at home in this really pleasant place. They serve typical local food, and I was especially glad they knew about celiac disease and had gluten-free pasta dishes available.

Everything is homemade here, and the menu follows the seasons. The traditional food is always delicious and carefully made by people who know their craft. The Sopa Coada is especially amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The building was quiet, the location was good, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. I wasn’t keen on having no shower in the bathroom, though I understand the space may be hard to change. For one night, like I needed, it’s a decent option.

We were four, but there wasn’t a room available for all of us, so we agreed to take a double room with a third bed. I shared the double bed with my daughters, aged 5 and 7, and slept very badly: it was made from two framed beds that didn’t meet in the middle, leaving a gap of more than 10 cm. Two ordinary box springs with mattresses, like you find in most hotels, would have avoided that problem. We stayed for one night on August 26, 2017. The hotel itself was welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and well kept. But the owner seemed rude and unsociable. I told him about the bed, and he showed no interest. There was also a difference between the price we’d agreed on by phone and confirmed by email, €75, and the €80 he initially asked for. I pointed it out right away, and he said, “OK, give me €75.” It left me with the feeling that he just wanted us to leave. Our booking was for a double room with a third bed.
