It’s a very good place with a clean room, and Verona is nearby. Breakfast was just okay, not especially good, but the price was really cheap.

The residence was a quiet, comfortable find in our holiday package, with spacious rooms and a large bathroom. The shower was on the small side, though. We ate breakfast and dinner at the nearby restaurant "da Graziano e Loretta." Dinner was excellent, portions generous, and service quick; breakfast was simpler but still good. There’s parking in the inner courtyard. I did find it a shame to see a few fascist keepsakes displayed in a glass cabinet.

We had two different first courses and matching fish appetizers for dinner at the residence, and everything was delicious. My boyfriend and I were there for two days to see Verona one day and Sirmione sul Garda the next. Residenza il Giglio worked well for visiting both, and it’s only 20 minutes from Verona. The place was welcoming and well looked after, our room was lovely and maintained, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again to the owners for their hospitality, and I highly recommend it!

The room rates are excellent, and you can eat at their restaurant too. A colleague stayed here for work and found the owner very kind and friendly. From the outside it may look quite spartan, but the rooms inside are new, comfortable, and clearly recently renovated. If we need a place in the area, we’d definitely choose it.
