The bread and pancakes at breakfast were delicious and freshly made. I was only in the area for a nearby business trip, and the hotel felt remote. There was enough room to open my luggage, but the ventilation didn’t seem very effective, so I had to open the window for fresh air.

The hotel itself was okay, more or less, but the gym arrangement was frustrating. It belongs to a separate company across the road, and guests have to book a time slot. I booked one and went over, only to be turned away because they hadn’t heard from the hotel. Apparently they sometimes let hotel guests use the facilities as a favor.

I’ve stayed here before an early flight and would use it again next time I’m in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff have always been excellent.

They let me check in 2.5 hours early, and the arrival went smoothly. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the curtains did a great job blocking the light. It felt worn from a lot of use, though, with stains on the carpet. The shower and faucet had excellent hot water, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a socket that switches between 120 and 220 volts and takes an American plug. There’s plenty of parking, but using the pay gate to park near the entrance costs 2 Euros each time. We ordered drinks in the lobby one evening and got good service. I didn’t have time for breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

The hotel is right by the swimming pool, and the location is about 10 minutes from both the old and new city. Rooms were very good and clean, rates affordable, and breakfast plentiful.
