The owner went far beyond what you'd expect to help me recover a bag I'd left at a nearby restaurant. He called them, rang the bell, and contacted everyone he could think of until he got it back to me. For a one-night stay, everything else was good too: a cozy bed, air conditioning, and all the basics. It felt like a warm family business. Definitely five stars.

The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. It's close to the bay and city center, with a good bus connection to Triest.

Parking was convenient, either right in front of the hotel or in its own underground garage. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the city center or the beaches in Muggia or Slovenia, and Skocjanska Cave is nearby too. Very good value for money.

The big room was clean and well air-conditioned, and the bathroom was big too. Staff were kind. It's a little far from Trieste center, but parking was perfect.
