Cascioni Eco Retreat - Suites with Private Pool

We felt welcome, cared for, and relaxed during our three nights here. Our spacious suite had a lovely private mini pool, and the food was very nice, as you’d expect at these prices. It’s definitely a luxury hotel. The place is beautiful, the staff were amazing, and everyone gave us helpful advice for trips around the area.

Of the three boutique hotels we stayed at in Sardinia, this was our favorite. The mini villas with private pools were wonderful, as were the spa treatments and delicious restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, too. A unique hotel I’d highly recommend.

The meal was incredible, especially the tomato sauce, which was the best we’ve ever tried. My husband and I took a private cooking class in the greenhouse at Cascioni Eco retreat, led by the amazing Elly. We made traditional homemade Sardinian pasta and seadas, then went up to the restaurant terrace, where the chef prepared our pasta with sauce for lunch. For dessert we had the seadas with delicious honey made on the property. We also really enjoyed the aperativo and wine. We won’t forget the experience, and highly recommend booking this activity at Cascioni with Elly.

Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, delicious, and nicely presented each morning in peaceful surroundings. We spent four nights at Cascioni Eco Retreat and had a very good time. The property is beautifully designed and well maintained, fitting naturally into the landscape, and our room was comfortable and inviting. Service sometimes felt uncoordinated, which surprised us for a hotel of this caliber. At the pool, nobody came by to offer drinks or snacks, something we would have expected at this price. Even so, we had a solid stay. With a bit more attention to service, Cascioni Eco Retreat could be outstanding.
