A peaceful place with quiet natural surroundings, great food, and excellent service. We had delicious homemade Sardinian family cooking, natural products, and their own red wine. A little paradise for relaxing over food. Highly recommend!
So much homemade food, at least seven courses, though I lost count. The Canonau was very nice, and there were cooked meats, pickles, a cheesy courgette dish, a cheesy aubergine dish, and two pastas, one with a really inventive spinach and aubergine combination. The suckling pig was to die for, and all the traditional puddings were homemade too. Coffee and liqueurs followed. All in, 30 euros. Really friendly people. Bring mozzie spray.
The owner was veeeery friendly, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!
