Residenza Rio Molas

The photos don’t do this place justice. We loved staying here, and the staff were so friendly. The cleaners did a great job every day, and we had some lovely evening meals with a sea view. The food was great. We’d happily recommend it.

A really quiet hotel that’s still close to the beach. The breakfast and dinner were amazing, everything was super clean, and the pool and outdoor areas were great.

Our BMW was damaged off road and needed an urgent check and possibly repairs. We don’t speak Italian, so we were worried we might be stuck in Sardinia for months without German car service. Rio Molas residence staff came to our rescue. The cleaning ladies, receptionists, waiters, Chef, and owner all helped with calls and conversations, found and contacted an authorized BMW service center, arranged a tow, and drove us to appointments while we couldn’t use the car. Grazie mille! We’ll definitely come back and recommend the resort to friends. The hotel itself was a dream stay too: beautiful views and nature, two pools, clean and spacious rooms, a panoramic balcony, and delicious food in the hotel restaurant. Above all, the staff showed us real kindness and care.

The hotel is set right in nature, with sea and mountain views from our room. We stayed for around five days and barely heard anyone else, since there are no nearby buildings. If you love nature, you might spot green lizards and hear turtle doves, bee eaters, goldfinches, greenfinches, peregrine falcons, and nighthawks. Dinner is a fixed price, the portions are good, and the menu changes each day. The food was fresh and good quality, with especially great seafood. The staff were so friendly and helped us with everything when our vehicle broke down, including contacting the towing service, arranging an appointment with an authorized BMW service branch in the nearest big city, and speaking to the services in Italien. The beach can be reached on foot or by car, and we drove there in about five minutes.
