A lovely base for cycling through Piedmont’s quiet hills, with the Catholic sanctuary of Crea, Romanesque churches, and medieval castles to visit along the way. The hotel is very clean, and the food is mouthwatering, with dishes for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The local wine is a real pleasure. Visit the Monferrato region to experience Piedmont at its best.
