The location made getting to the sights easy, and the rooms were kept clean. Breakfast was huge, and the staff were really accommodating. I’d definitely come back. Thanks so much!

The road right outside was quite noisy, which was the one downside for us. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel’s design and the lovely view from the balcony and bathroom. Our room was clean, and breakfast was tasty with plenty to choose from. The receptionist gave us such a warm welcome and was always happy to help or offer advice, which you don’t often see. It’s in the pretty little village of Nago Torbole, near Lago di Garda. We’d be very happy to return! :)))

We had no complaints. It’s a great family-run hotel, with modernized, clean rooms, air conditioning, and a balcony. The lake is about a 30-minute walk away, but we were given free bus tickets, and the stop is only 20 meters from the entrance.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was basic but good, and the hotel is conveniently located. There’s free parking, and it’s a good deal if everything goes smoothly. But a problem during our stay brought out a condescending and rude side of the staff that I found unacceptable. The check-in itself went well. The woman at reception seemed friendly at first, and our first day was fine. On the first night, though, the air conditioning stopped working. Even with the window open, it was 27.6 degrees Celsius in the room. When we raised it the next morning, the response was, “there’s no problem. Close the window. Window open not possible air conditioning”. After I explained that we weren’t idiots, she reluctantly came to the room and agreed there seemed to be a fault. She said she’d handle it through the electronic system. There was a thermostat, but reception had set the minimum temperature to 24 degrees. Later that day, we asked again. Both women at reception replied rudely that the air conditioning across the whole floor was down, and that because it was Saturday, getting an engineer might not be possible. I asked if we could have a fan. One answered, “no fan. 26 degrees is not hot, you exaggerate. You need to calm down because when you stressed body temperature high”. When I said that remark was out of line and that people feel temperatures differently, she started shouting in Italian and German, then said that since we were in Italy, we needed to speak Italian. I wish we’d read the one-star reviews before booking. If you’re lucky enough to have no problems, this place has clean rooms, decent basic breakfast, a handy location, and free parking. But if something goes wrong, staff can become condescending and make rude, inappropriate comments. My suggestion to management is to work on how you treat customers, even when their problem doesn’t seem important to you. That’s respect, and I’m sure the word exists in Italian too. I won’t come back. EDIT: The passive-aggressive reply says it all. These are the rudest owners I’ve ever encountered, and their condescending attitude needs to change if they want to stay in business. I’d strongly suggest they reflect on how they’ve become such horrendous people. Otherwise, I fear they may go out of business sooner than they think.

The room was modern and very clean, and breakfast was really good.
