Ifigenia

The lake views were beautiful, and the location was fab, with the water just five steps away and local restaurants a five-minute walk away. There was also a lovely pool out front. The young guy at reception, whose name I can't remember, was very friendly and helpful, and gave us good advice about where to go. We stayed with my partner in early June 2025. The room was a bit dated, but we paid less than £100 for the night, so I wasn't expecting the Ritz. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice, and we'd definitely return!

The lake view was amazing. The hotel's on the south side of Torbole, and downtown is an easy walk. An employee told us the parking out front is free from 9pm to 9am, and he was awesome. Room 64 was OK and had the basics, but there was nowhere to put a suitcase. A stand or bench would have helped. The bathroom was cramped: the bidet was unusable, jammed against the shower wall, and there was barely room around the toilet. Another room might have worked better. Breakfast was just OK, a classic buffet with flies on the food because there were no covers.

Everything went smoothly. The accommodation was very good, with a friendly reception, good breakfast, and a bed with nice bedding and normal pillows.

The view and location made the experience incredible, and the people running Hotel Ifigenia were so welcoming. They went out of their way to make our anniversary special. Breakfast was plentiful and high quality, with local pastries, fresh fruit and veggies, cheeses, breads, spreads, cereals, dried fruit and yogurts. The coffee machine was perfect, and they even had maple syrup for fellow Canadians. Highly recommend!
