The peaceful atmosphere and views are lovely, but Miss Edith is what made the place feel like a real resort to us. She went out of her way to sort out transportation, suggest places to see, and help us with the languages. She made us feel like family, and I loved laughing with her. Her staff were sweet and accommodating as well. I can't say enough good things about her. Next time we come to Italy, we have to spend a few more days resting here. Arrivederci, Edith, see you soon!

Peace, quiet, and privacy are the real luxury here. The location feels completely private, yet a small town with restaurants is close by for an evening stroll. The staff were friendly, and both breakfast and lunch were delicious. Everything is laid out so guests can have their own little spot to swim, either in the lake or the pool. The views are amazing.

My wife and I spent five fabulous nights at Villa Tempesta in mid-May. The views from the rooms and shared areas are wonderful, and breakfast service was excellent. A special mention for Saina, who seemed to handle both reception and the restaurant with a smile. The hotel is around 8 KM from Riva del Garda on the lake’s north shore. Keep in mind it doesn’t serve dinner and there doesn’t seem to be local delivery, so you need a car. A coffee maker in the room would be a useful improvement. I rated service 4 stars because there’s no service after 7pm, though the service we did get was 5*.
