Holiday Apartment Krosshof

The Kröss family care for Krösshof with such dedication, and you can feel how warm and welcoming they are. The garden is lovely, and the pool is excellent. Our apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a nice balcony. There are charming details throughout the house, with homemade products, beer, and wine in the common room. Fresh apples are available too. A perfect base for excursions.

We’ve returned for years, and usually choose the top-floor apartment. The little balcony looks toward Bolzano, while the terrace on the other side faces Merano. Just be prepared for the stairs: the steps up are higher and the ceiling is lower. In the morning, fresh rolls hang from the doorknob, and their smell fills the building. The supermarket is an easy walk away, the Adige cycle path is right nearby, and there’s plenty more to enjoy.

The path into Nals is lovely, winding through the orchards, and there are some great restaurants in the village. Krösshof also makes a perfect base for excursions, and we felt completely at home. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The house has lots of charming details, and the common room has delicious homemade apple juice, jams, and jellies. The Kröss family are so warm and attentive, and shared great local tips. There’s a beautiful garden, an excellent pool, and a trampoline, table tennis, and sandbox for kids. You can tell the whole family puts love and care into maintaining the place. We’d love to return next year!

The Kröss family are wonderful, and this was our sixth visit this year. We’ll certainly be back again. The apartments and garden, including the fantastic pool, are all kept in immaculate condition.
