The rooms are clean and well laid out, the owner was consistently kind and ready to help with our requests, and breakfast was generous and varied, with homemade items too. Parking behind the property is ample and convenient. It’s a real gem between Merano and Bolzano, handy for services and main roads to see the surrounding sights. For the quality and service, the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Stamserhof in April of this year, as a couple in our 50s. Our first floor double room looked out over apple orchards and the Dolomites. It was very clean and practical, with a small bathroom, modern shower and balcony. Smoking is permitted in the room. The hostess was incredibly kind and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and excursions. She prepared a varied breakfast with care, including freshly frothed milk and homemade jam. The buffet was small, but had everything we needed. We also got a card for free bus, train and cable car use, which was fantastic and came in handy. This small bed and breakfast is well placed for all kinds of outings. We enjoyed the whole stay and would definitely come back.
