1970 Rooms

1970 Rooms is a charming little boutique hotel on the 2nd floor, with about 5 rooms. We got there later than planned, but Salvatore greeted us with a smile even though we were delayed. Our room was very clean and spacious for the price. They provided toiletries, a hair dryer, and luggage storage. The one drawback is that the elevator is paid, so be prepared to climb the stairs if you don't want to pay. There's no mini bar, and I didn't see an iron, though I'm sure they'd find one if you asked. The location is excellent: a 3 min walk from Toledo train station, which connects to the main stations, and around 15 min on foot to the pier for ferries to Capri Island or Amalfi Coast. Lots of good restaurants, bars, and nightlife are within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend booking a room here.

A very cute, cool self-service hotel in the coolest part of napoli.

The staff are welcoming and friendly. The place feels very new, with simple, nice 1970's decor. The only downside is the lift costs 50cents during the day, so if you have big, heavy suitcases you can pay up or get in and ask a friend to send it up. Hahaha😉...problem solved. Lol.

The room looked just like the pictures, with plenty of space, and it was very clean. The hotel felt safe and was within walking distance of food and shops. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk away, and about 3 stations from napoli central. Salvatore was a great host, answered all our questions, and was there when we needed him. I'd recommend it to any traveler.
