Alambrado Rooms & Suites

The soundproofing was awful. You could hear everything happening next door. The towels and bedding, especially the sheets, were so dirty that we slept using our own towels. When we arrived, nobody was at the hotel, and we waited about 30 minutes for the receptionist.

Clean, good value for the money, and in a convenient location.

Everything is close by, including the well-stocked bar downstairs where you can try local specialties. The building is very central and makes a good base for the historic center. I found it convenient to walk, or to use the metro or Vesuviana train. The place is clean, housekeeping comes daily, and Sara is always available if you need anything. Exceptional staff.

We reported animals in the room that weren’t ours, and were told someone would come within half an hour. In the end, they only intervened about 15 minutes before we left, so it was no use to us. Construction work was also going on, but nobody had told us in advance, and it disrupted our stay. We raised these problems and never heard back from the property. It’s a shame, as more attentive and open management could have made this a pleasant stay.
