Artemisia Domus - Centro Storico

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I’m really glad we picked this hotel for Naples. Breakfast each morning had plenty of options. Our room was great too, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom, and handy kitchenette. Artemisia Domus was perfectly placed for exploring on foot, with a few metro stations nearby for getting to the train station and taking day trips. My husband and I had nine wonderful nights here.

A straightforward one-night booking change turned into an unnecessary dispute because of the hotel’s own instructions. I originally booked two nights on Booking.com at a fully refundable rate, but needed to reduce it to one. Since Booking.com wouldn’t let me amend the reservation, I messaged the hotel there. They told me to cancel and book directly, and I have that message as proof in the photo. They then contacted me on WhatsApp and offered a direct booking. I followed their instructions and cancelled, then booked directly. The confirmation only came after I chased them, and I didn’t notice they had booked two nights again, which wasn’t what I’d asked for. If I’d wanted two nights, I’d have left the original Booking.com reservation alone. At checkout, they refused to change it, saying they couldn’t because we’d communicated on “two platforms.” That makes no sense when they were the ones who told me to cancel and book direct. After a lot of back and forth, their only “solution” was a free night sometime in the next year. That’s useless to me since I won’t be returning. I’ve sent all the screenshots and evidence to my credit card company and Booking.com. The way they handled a simple amendment was unreasonable and unfair. Updated photos show them contacting me first on WhatsApp and asking me to cancel on Booking.com, and me clearly requesting a direct booking for the 28th.

The staff were incredible, with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions that went above and beyond. Our room was comfortable and just right, and the location can’t be beat, with all the great spots in walking distance. We spent a night in Napoli on a recent trip, and this little hotel was perfect. Highly recommended!

Loved staying at Artemisia Domus. Right in the heart of Naples, the location was perfect, and the rooms were clean, stylish, and comfortable. Some even have jacuzzis. The staff were really friendly and helpful, too. A great place for a relaxing, memorable stay!
