The location makes it easy to get around from the house using different kinds of transport, and Mr. Fabio is excellent, quick to reply to guests on WhatsApp. The room is clean, with staff coming daily to change towels and bed linens. Still, they knock between 8 and 9 a.m. to ask about cleaning, when we’re asleep after getting back late. Noise from the other occupants was also a problem: the rooms are close, so we could constantly hear the TV, laughter, and private conversations. The elevator seems to be broken often, or someone has left its inner door open, so we had to take the stairs to the eighth floor. The building residents felt intimidating, gathering on stairwells on different floors. Vendors outside at night added to the uneasy feeling, especially when arriving late. I’d rate the accommodation as average.

I’ve never written a review before, but I couldn’t keep quiet about this experience. The hostel says reception is open until 11 p.m. I arrived at 10 p.m., but there was no access code or room key. I waited for someone to come in and called the listed number, but nobody answered. When I came back, residents let me into a corridor that smelled terrible, and there were still no keys or information. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. I found a much better hotel nearby, HOTEL POTENZA 3*, with reception, where I got a room with breakfast for less money. DAIVA Lithuania

We really enjoyed our stay in the penthouse, with its lovely view over the square. The hotel is very central, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were so friendly.

The place was dirty.
