We had a good stay, and the owner was really nice and easy to talk to. The shower had strong pressure and the towels were soft. The room looked nice too, though street noise and sound from the other rooms came through, even with the connecting door locked. The double bed was two single mattresses pushed together, which wasn't ideal for a couple, but it was okay.

Federico was kind and gave us all the information we needed. There's a typical Italian breakfast at a bar in Piazza Amedeo, and the metro is only 50 metres away. From that station, the metropolitana train goes directly to Pompei or Caserta. A perfect place to stay in Napoli.

Cooking here can save quite a bit since food isn't expensive, unless you really prefer eating out. I loved having a proper stove and fridge in the apartment, though the fridge needs fixing or replacing. Breakfast has been a problem in lots of places during COVID. Maybe you could ask for a small discount and sort out your own breakfast. That's not an issue unique to Amadeo, and Federico did his best to provide the food I prefer as long as I could eat it in the apartment.

Federico, who owns the place, was so kind and friendly. It's peaceful and feels secure, and breakfast is included. I really liked staying here, and would definitely recommend it.

I went to Palermo for a side trip and got a WhatsApp from Federico saying he was replacing the fridge. I was glad to hear it, as I had another two nights there.
