The online communication with Alessia went well. Just remember to keep your phone charged, because you need an app to open the building door. Two metro stations are about a 10-minute walk away, including the impressive new Chiaia one. Restaurants and cafes are 5 to 7 minutes away on foot. The room looked like the pictures, with a traditional style, plenty of space, a clean bathroom, toiletries and nice new towels. The windows and blackout shutters were good.

There’s a window, but it barely brings in any daylight because it faces the neighboring building’s wall. The beds are hard, and although this is called a bed and breakfast, there is NO breakfast. We won’t be considering the place again.

A clean, roomy place with a good bathroom and shower, and it felt safe. The taxi stand is only a short block away. Great value if you’re after a centrally located B&B.

The furniture is simple and rustic, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It’s in a really quiet area, easy to get to by public transport and only a few minutes’ walk from the city center and other areas.

I left my Apple Watch behind. The owner first said they’d found it and would send it, then stopped answering my messages completely. Very unprofessional, with no customer service at all. I’d give zero stars if I could.
