B&B Rosolino

The host was kind and helpful, and I had no complaints. My room was spacious and clean, with Garibaldi central station fairly close by.

We were pleased with the stay, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. The room had a balcony, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and its own bathroom with a shower. The showerhead wasn’t in perfect shape, but it worked and there was hot water. They’d also left extra shampoo, soap, and a clean set of towels. The location was handy, too. There’s a great pizzeria across the street, Piazza Garibaldi station is about a 10-minute walk away, and most main attractions are roughly 20-30 minutes on foot. One thing to know: despite the B&B name, there’s no breakfast. A note in the shared kitchen says not to cook, only sleep. That wasn’t a problem for us since we only needed the fridge. We arrived very late, after check-in time, and had some trouble getting in. While we waited for the hosts, we met some Italians and ate some of the best pizza with them. The hosts eventually came, were friendly despite our late arrival, and checked us in. They don’t speak English, but we managed fine with common words and Google Translate. Thank you.

The place was new, modern, and very clean, and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly even though they didn’t speak much English. Check-in was awkward. Nobody was there at the time we’d requested, so we had to call several times and wait for someone to arrive. Breakfast was also very basic, just crackers and a tiny piece of cake. Still, we had a great experience and would recommend it.

Please don’t stay here. We were left waiting outside for half an hour in 40°C heat before the host let us in, and after insisting on cash, the host took some of my money. It’s meant to be a B&B, but there was no breakfast and no host around to ask about it. The shower was gross, there was no shampoo or anything, and the AC didn’t work at night. Absolutely horrible, it felt like a total scam and we got robbed.
