The central Vomero location was excellent, and Rosa made us feel welcome. She was cheerful and always available. Everything was fantastic.

I don't understand the negative reviews, I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and had the comforts you need for exploring the city, and the location was excellent. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, they made it feel like home. Breakfast is across the street at the Merliani Terrace bar. The coffee and pastries are delicious.

I booked a room for August two weeks ahead. The night before check-in, when I was already on my way to Naples, an email arrived saying the hotel had canceled, with hardly any explanation. Fortunately, Booking found me another place. Out of curiosity I tried booking a room again, and was surprised to see rooms available at a higher price than before. The hotel never replied to my messages or calls. Keep that in mind if you plan to book directly with the property.

The ants near the window the next morning were the last straw. When we told the owner, the response was basically, “Well, it's just the season.” Staff were rude and impolite from the start. We'd requested three triple rooms but were given two triples and one double. They seemed visibly annoyed and told us that if we didn't like it, we could go elsewhere, without apologizing. The replacement room was awful and almost windowless, with its only window opening onto a closed balcony like a veranda. One of the worst experiences I've had.
