B&B Vico Milano 18

After three frustrating hours, we found somewhere else to stay and paid €200 more. We’d booked six days ahead, checked with the host 72 hours before, then confirmed our arrival time again 24 hours beforehand. Still, when we reached the front door, Marica texted that they were fully booked and couldn’t honor the reservation. We asked her to help us find another place and never heard back. I wouldn’t risk booking here.

The breakfast was the highlight, so good! Marica welcomed us warmly and shared useful tips that made our time in Naples really pleasant. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the station is only about a five-minute walk away. I stay in B&Bs a lot when I travel, and this one was exceptional. I know where I’ll stay next time I’m in Naples. Thanks for having us, Marica. Sandro and Tim. xx

We stayed for one night before our flight, and the location worked well for quick access to Napoli Centrale. The B&B was clean, the room was spacious, and the host was very friendly. It’s on the fourth floor, and the elevator costs 10 cents, handy to know beforehand. The station neighborhood felt sketchier than other parts of Napoli, so you need to stay aware, as you would in any big city. We’d come back for another short stay near the station.

Marica baked cakes each morning, made by her Mum, and they were superb. The coffee was great too. This is a lovely little B&B, and Marica is a lovely host. The room was clean and nice; the bed just wasn’t to my taste, which isn’t a fault with the room. It’s a great spot for transport from the main station, with lots of cake places nearby. L1 gets you to all the best places.
