Barbarella SPA

From this spot in the middle of the city's bustle, the train station is an easy walk away. We were on the 4th floor of a tucked-away little boutique hotel, and it was clean and tidy throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful, and let us leave our bags before check-in so we could explore. It's beside a busy roundabout, but with the balcony doors shut, we heard no traffic. A fantastic place to stay while visiting Napoli. I'd come back.

The suite's bathtub was in the bedroom, so having a shower there meant no privacy. There wasn't a shower in the bathroom. Road noise from the busy area outside was a problem around the clock, and it didn't feel like good value for money. They charged us 4€ for two small bottles of water from the fridge, though I'd usually expect that water to be free. The location is near the port and old town, but the metro doesn't go to the airport.

The bed was very comfortable, the staff were genuinely nice and accommodating, and I loved the shower. The room was clean and felt safe, with plenty of amenities, great streaming on the TV, and air conditioning that worked really well. For this price, it was much better than just about anything else I could find in Naples. I only got to stay for a short part of my trip before moving to a much worse hotel, because Barbarella Spa was fully booked. Highly recommend.

The bed was great, the room was spacious, and having Netflix was a big plus. It's a comfortable place in the heart of Naples. Still, some of the services listed on the page, including massages and laundry facilities, weren't available. That was misleading and frustrating, and they should update the listing. Our booking described a balcony, a view, and a city view, but we looked straight out at scaffolding and a balcony we couldn't use because building work was underway. I wish we'd known that before the stay.
