Bed and Breakfast Le Stelle Del Museo

The free breakfast next door was good, and the balcony on the 8th floor had a nice view. The room itself was spacious, but it felt a bit old and didn't have many facilities. Service was slow and not good at all.

Naples looked amazing from the room.

We were happy with our stay in the end, and the location was a real plus, close to the metro, shops, and restaurants. We'd found the property on Booking.com but booked directly. Our room was on the eighth floor and shared a living room. One issue was the fridge, which wasn't cooling. The shower drain also clogged on our first day, but we told the owner and it was sorted the next day. The elevator needs a key when the concierge is there, so at one point we had to climb all eight floors 😅. The air conditioning was listed on Booking.com and the website, but it wasn't working. When we said the room was hot, the owner explained they only switched it on in July/August because guests had been overusing it and they needed to limit consumption. They offered to buy a fan, but it never arrived. The room was still cool enough for us to sleep quite well at night. I know running a business is hard, especially these days, but when I'm paying for the amenities, I think it's fair to expect them to be available. I'd just suggest checking that everything works.

From the eighth floor there's a lovely panoramic view across Naples, and the building is right opposite Museo Metro station. There are only two rooms, so it stays very quiet. Both rooms are large, have their own bathrooms, and come with useful things like a fridge, wardrobe, spare blankets, and hairdryer. The staff were friendly and ready to help.
