We could get around to the sights easily from this very central spot. Breakfast on the roof terrace was great, and the rooms were lovely, neat and clean.

The key pickup is a few blocks from the property, which is a real problem if you're traveling with lots of luggage. The host didn't explain where to collect the keys, then said they'd sent instructions through Expedia, even though I hadn't booked there. They were rude about it. The area felt sketchy, and although the rooms were okay, the whole experience was bad. I'd stay somewhere else.

We'd happily come back to Borgo Casanova. The staff were really lovely, and the room was spacious. It was a seven-minute walk from the train station, and the place was clean and tidy. Breakfast had lots of tasty options. Great value, highly recommended!

The room was small, with no real space for two people to sit and relax, but it was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. The toilet seat was loose, an easy fix for the hotel. At €65, it was very good value. I'd stay again for a short visit, though I'd also consider their main hotel for a slightly larger room and more convenience. We were only there for one night, and the location worked well for a brief stay. The train station, with its metro and airport bus, was under a 10-minute walk away, and the busy historic center was about as far. The neighborhood was a little rough, as areas around stations often are, but that isn't the hotel's fault or control. We felt fine: nearby shops and restaurants, including a great, very cheap mini mart with everything we needed, meant there were always people passing by. Check-in might be confusing. We only knew to go first to a different hotel nearer the station because we'd asked in advance about luggage storage. I'm not sure they would have contacted us otherwise. The staff were excellent when we arrived. They let us check in early, and the cleaner, who had just finished, welcomed us warmly. Breakfast on the terrace was a nice setting. We had to leave promptly, and the staff kindly packed breakfast and espressos to take with us.
