We eventually gave up and went to another café, where we spent our money and were treated with basic respect. Here, even though the place was almost empty, nobody served us. The staff helped everyone else, and when we politely asked for a menu, they ignored us completely. It felt like they had judged us as soon as we came in. I’d only recommend it to older customers, since the age bias was hard to miss.

They take their time with you and make sure you’re looked after and enjoying the meal. The seafood was excellent, just what you’d hope for so close to the water. Great service and a fantastic location.

I skipped the usual places on the main strip to try this spot, and that was a mistake. It felt touristy. The seafood was nothing special, and the pasta was simply raw, not al dente. I told the waiter, but he acted like it didn’t matter. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The waiter was grumpy and rude from the moment we arrived. My seafood pasta portion was tiny, and my mum’s lobster claw was raw when we cracked it open. One waiter insisted it wasn’t, even though it clearly was. The other just said, “it happens” in Italian. They took the plate away, did nothing about it, and still charged us full price.
