The area wasn’t the cleanest, but the apartment was spacious and well placed for heading in any direction. MP

The hostess canceled the room on her own and didn’t tell anyone. I only found out four days before arriving in Naples. If I’d shown up without knowing, I could have ended up sleeping on a bench. Completely unprofessional. Don’t trust this hostess.

Stay away from this apartment. The owner never answers messages and canceled our stay without giving a reason. It felt like a fraud, and we could have been left out on the street. Dangerous people!

The location worked really well for us. It’s close to Central Station and Porta Nolana Station, where you can catch the Circumvenusian Railway toward Pompeii, Herculaneum, and the south. Boarding there means getting on before people coming from Central Station. Via Urberto I is nearby, with a short walk to the Duomo or Garibaldi metro stops, and the center is walkable too. There are plenty of places to eat or get takeaway and all sorts of shops around. Enmanuele was attentive and helpful. He quickly brought us a microwave when we asked, since one wasn’t provided. The space is called Capri, and it’s a studio, not a separate-bedroom apartment. The bed and fully equipped kitchenette, with lots of utensils, are together in one room. We mentioned the layout to Enmanuele, and he confirmed that’s how it is. We were a bit disappointed by that, though we don’t regret staying. There’s also a small, pleasant lounge where coffee and tea are offered. The studio is on the first floor. To enter, you open a small wooden door set into a large gate, like in the other buildings nearby. The entrance is old, while the studio itself has been renovated and has air conditioning. The bathroom sometimes smelled unpleasant despite its forced ventilation. The towels were also a little worn and could use replacing.
