We loved the location, right in the middle of everything, and our apartment was cleaned very well every day. The jacuzzi was the highlight, just what we needed after walking around Naples all day. A couple of moments felt awkward. One cleaner seemed annoyed that we hadn't put out a "Do Not Disturb" sign, though we didn't know we needed one. A receptionist also rushed through an explanation, so we were left a bit confused. Even with those small snags, we had a great stay.

Cleanliness should matter regardless of how many stars a place has. I've visited Naples three times in the last two years and plan to keep coming, and I only booked here out of necessity after the place I used last time wasn't an option. I chose it because of all the good reviews, but I'm disappointed. The floor hadn't been cleaned, and a simple wet tissue would show it. There was dust everywhere, dirty glasses, hair in the shower, drains, and jacuzzi, and what looked like urine marks on the toilet. The walls were scratched. I even found a dirty ear stick left in the box with the clean ones. The bed was terrible too. They don't seem to know what a duvet cover is: two sheets were used to cover the duvet, but the duvet itself was left exposed and didn't feel hygienic. I'm not asking for royal treatment. I worked as a cleaner in the hotel industry in a foreign country, although I'm an engineer in my home country. It was my first job abroad, out of necessity, but I always did it with pleasure and professionalism. If someone had come by even once during these days to clean or ask if everything was okay, I would have gladly left a generous tip. Instead, it felt like a money-making factory. It's a shame some people don't have enough self-respect to leave an honest review. I doubt this review will matter with so many satisfied guests, but I'm disappointed.

Do not recommend this B&B, especially for a group with older people or young children. I booked two rooms for four nights in mid-October 2023 for my family, three adults and one infant. We paid 1,741.56 EUR. We got one large room and one small one. There were some good points: the location was okay, not far from Universita metro station, and supermarkets and restaurants were 5-10 minutes away on foot. Early check-in was possible, the rooms were clean, and the dual-mode Hisense air conditioners were very quiet. The logistics were hard. The place we stayed was at Via Salvatore Fusco 16, but the office for collecting keys was at Via Giulio Cesare Cortese 21, three blocks away. We had to collect the keys, then drag two suitcases and three bags along bumpy roads among erratic cars and motorcycles, with an old grandma and a young child in a stroller. The rooms were on the third floor, though numbered 601 and 602. It was a converted three-bedroom apartment without a kitchen, with a bathroom and jacuzzi in each room and only a hallway as shared space. The building's elevator was ridiculously small, even by European standards, and couldn't fit a full-size unfolded stroller. On weekdays it required an exact 10-cent coin to go up and another to come down, not 20 cents, 50 cents, or 1 EUR. The superintendent's office on the first floor could provide a 10-cent coin for going up only. Nobody initially told us we'd need one to go down. We found out, walked downstairs to ask the Super for coins, then went back up so the old and young members of our group could ride down. I don't understand why the elevator is set up this way; it's very inconvenient for guests. There was also a construction site directly across from the room windows, and we could hear trucks and cars in the early evening. I had arranged a car with a child seat to the airport 11 days beforehand and the B&B confirmed it. When I reconfirmed on flight day, I was told the car had no child seat. Breakfast wasn't included, despite this being a B&B, and cost 6EUR per person.

The rooms themselves were nice and spacious, but the service was awful. At night we couldn't get into the building because the door wouldn't open. We had a two-month-old crying baby who needed sleep, and nobody answered our calls. They only replied on WhatsApp. It took over 45 minutes to get us inside, while homeless people came up to talk to us. When we complained, all they said was, “those things happen.” No apology, nothing. Picking up and returning the keys a couple of blocks away was also a pain with a suitcase, especially on those streets. The elevator costs money, and since we didn't have 10-cent coins, we had to walk up three floors. I wouldn't recommend the place because of the service, not the room.
