Dante Relais

The bed mattress was incredibly comfortable. I slept really well, even though the pillows weren’t great. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels, toiletries, water in the minibar, and coffee and tea replenished daily. We stayed for a week at the beginning of November. We’d planned to come in October, but I got sick, and Paolo kindly found us another date without charging extra. Antonia welcomed us and was around throughout our stay. She was lovely, gave us a map, and pointed out places to visit. There’s plenty to see nearby, and the metro makes it easy to get farther out. The area itself is very loud at night, with cars and sirens, but the windows kept the noise out once closed. I’d have preferred real cups or glasses for tea over the plastic ones, but we managed. It’s a great place, and if we come back to Naples, I’d try to book here again.

The hotel is newer, and the rooms were clean, modern, and nice. It’s close to Metro Line 1 and you can get there from the train station. Check-in could be simpler. I’d skip breakfast: it’s served somewhere separate and wasn’t very accessible before 8:30 a.m. There were only a few pastries, and no juice because they’d run out of oranges. 🤣

The building has lots of character, and the hosts were as nice as we could have hoped for. It’s right in the middle of everything, which made it a terrific base for visiting Naples.

Paolo was gracious and always focused on helping. During my 8 day stay in Napoli, he kept in touch and gave me useful tips for getting around. I found the location superb for seeing everyday life in the center. The historic neighborhood, with all the pizzas you could imagine, is only a few minutes away, and I found the Dante Relais easy to navigate to. There’s a lift to your floor, and Mauricio is the friendly doorman at the manor. Thanks to Paulo, I also got to experience how friendly people are here. Dante Relais is clean and spacious, with a view, and feels like a real gem in this lively city. Grazie mille Paulo.
