Good location, and the room was a nice size.

Gioia deserves special praise. She manages the place with warmth, pays attention, and is always available. You can tell she cares about her work, and she makes guests feel at home. The property itself is spotless, quiet, and welcoming, and very carefully maintained. My room was bright and basic for what I needed. The bathroom was outside the room but completely private, and Wi-Fi was available. In Naples’ historic center, it’s just steps from Spaccanapoli, San Gregorio Armeno, and the old town’s many sights. Walking out straight into the authentic Neapolitan spirit was priceless.

The location earned the two stars for me. Inside, though, the sound carries badly: our room shared a wall with another guests' bathroom, and we could hear what was happening there and in the common room. The doors bang loudly too. With inconsiderate neighbors, a decent night's sleep is out of reach. We couldn't sleep past 6:00 AM on either of two mornings. The street noise was blocked well by the exterior fixtures, which makes the poor soundproofing between rooms even more of a shame, especially since they look recently renovated.

This is my go-to place to stay in Naples now. The rooms have plenty of space, balconies, and good soundproofing, so sleeping peacefully was easy. The service was excellent, and the location was just right. Everything was fantastic!
