DOMUS MARINA Rooms

Getting to the rooms was confusing, and without internet on your phone it would've been impossible, so be prepared. We expected a clean room, but the floor looked as though it hadn't been swept or mopped for a week. Hair and fur were everywhere, including on the bed. We urgently messaged the landlord, who apologized and insisted it must be the cleaner's hair. For there to be that much, she'd have to be shedding badly or bring a whole pack of dogs along. He said he'd sort it out the next day. When we came back that evening, the bed had been changed, but the floor hadn't been touched, and we had to walk through the hair again. We booked through Booking.com. The landlord then canceled our reservation and marked us as no-shows, which meant we couldn't leave a review on the platform. We've traveled quite a bit and have never run into behavior or filth like this, not even in Asia.

So comfortable, lovely and clean, with big windows and a perfect location. Amazing!

Getting into the room was a hassle without mobile data. I messaged the host many hours beforehand, but still had to call more than three times before he gave me the instructions. The location looks okay on the map, though I'd suggest staying closer to the historic centre.

The location worked well for walking to the city centre and central station. The rooms were nice, clean, and equipped, and self check-in went smoothly. The owners were very kind, and communication was clear.
