Gresy Boutique Apartment

I stayed at Gresy Boutique Apartments for four days and will definitely come back. The welcome was warm, and the staff were available, professional, and attentive. The apartment felt comfortable and refined, with modern, elegant furnishings and all the basics that made it feel like home. It was spotless and smelled fresh from the moment I arrived. Its quiet but convenient location made getting around and seeing the city easy. I highly recommend it for a comfortable stay without surprises.

Breakfast was a disappointing spread of packaged snacks, toast, Nutella tubs, and coffee pods to prepare in the room. It felt neglected and impersonal, not like the thoughtful B&B breakfast I expected. The mattress in room no. 4 was another problem. It was cheap and so firm it felt like sleeping on the floor under a sheet. My wife and I had back, buttock, neck, and shoulder pain, and spent each night tossing and turning. We woke up more tired than when we went to bed. We only found out on the last day that the bed in another room, and maybe the others, wasn't like ours. Getting around was a struggle too. The host told me, as someone unfamiliar with the area, that the place was “near the center,” but it’s on Via Vecchia Poggioreale, near the Naples prison, far from the center and inconvenient for tourists. Each trip meant walking about 15 minutes to the station and then taking the metro. Coming back after a tiring day felt like an odyssey, and the misleading description added stress and real limitations to our stay. There was also a bizarre parking mix-up. I’d asked during booking whether there was a garage nearby and asked them to reserve a space. The concierge, understandably and in good faith, directed me to the garage in the same building as the B&B, which seemed perfectly plausible. I parked my motorcycle there and paid for four nights for two motorcycles without trouble. Later the host called to say it was the “wrong” parking spot. He said the place he’d reserved belonged to a friend of his and that I should pay him for it, even though I’d never seen it and had already made arrangements with the other garage. He asked for €200. We eventually agreed on half, but I still had to pay for a service I never used. These four incidents showed a lack of care and respect for guests. I won't return or recommend this place to anyone looking for professionalism, integrity, and genuine hospitality.

We felt right at home during our stay from July 4th to 7th. The staff were warm, friendly, and really helpful. The room was lovely, bright, and clean, and even after the third day the towels and sheets still smelled great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was top-notch. I especially liked the hair dryer, a proper one that dries your hair well, not the wall-mounted kind that takes half an hour. Well done, guys. 🥰

The apartment itself was small and cozy, but we didn’t like the location. We were nervous walking up the street to it in the evening.
