Hart Boutique Rooms

The room was nice and the location was good. They kindly let us leave our bags since we arrived early, and I appreciated the effort they put into breakfast even with few guests. The staff were very friendly, though reception is only staffed at certain times, so keep that in mind. Getting into the building was confusing at first. I buzzed the hotel and someone answered who didn't speak English, while the busy, noisy street made it hard to hear. We did manage to get in eventually.

This was really discouraging. It presents itself as a hotel, but it's rooms in an apartment building with no dedicated entrance and no real service. I pressed the Hart button outside and waited 15-20 minutes without anyone answering. After getting inside, I couldn't find signs to guide me, and had to text the staff for a long time before they helped me in. Then I found a notice saying there was no customer service. They communicate it as a regular working hotel, which I think is misleading. I reported them to Booking. Don't stay here if you're looking for a hotel.

We only stayed one night while travelling with our 1-year-old, but the room had lots of space and a really comfortable bed. Matteo at reception and the lovely woman who prepared breakfast were so kind to our son and us, and were generous, helpful, and easy to reach. It was a great stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is handy, just a five-minute walk to the Capri ferry terminals and another five minutes to the old town markets and restaurants. What really stood out was the thoughtfulness of the staff. On 15th August, a public holiday, we mentioned casually to the afternoon receptionist that we'd be leaving early the next morning. When we got back a few hours later, there was a bag of food and drinks in our room for the journey. I've never had a hotel do that before.
