The apartment in Napoli’s historic center was just like the pictures, and surprisingly quiet even though the neighborhood is lively. Communication with Jessy was quick and easy. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.

The owner was kind and the bedrooms were clean. The location right in the historic city center is great. But ventilation is very poor, and there’s mold in both bathrooms that you can smell throughout the apartment. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with asthma or allergies, or for small children.

Even if they call this an apartment, it really looks like a storage room that’s been cheaply renovated into a condo. Go see it for yourself and you’ll understand. Strongly avoid.

I had to leave and find somewhere else immediately. I arrived on Saturday morning for two nights, and the owner had left the keys in a safe outside the door with a code. From the moment I went inside, it was a nightmare: mold smell, damp walls, dirt everywhere, awful beds, a terrible kitchen, and pots and pans that were an eyesore. The bathroom had a moldy shower curtain too. I contacted the owner right away to ask what was going on and request even a small refund, since I’d paid everything in advance. She told me, “If you’re okay with it, stay; if not, put the keys in the mailbox and leave,” then hung up and stopped answering. I’ve never encountered such an arrogant and slimy owner. People aren’t as trashy as you think. You’re just poor people who make fun of others. I absolutely advise against staying here. It’s truly a dump. I’m sorry I wasted my money on useless people. As a Sicilian, I thank all Neapolitans for the warmth I received from them, except for this individual.

The only good thing was the location. The apartment was extremely damp and very dirty, and there was no effort to look after guests who had already paid. The pots and pans were seriously embarrassing, though the owner seemed to think they were usable, perhaps because she’d use them at home. There were seven of us, and luckily we always travel with towels, since we found only shower towels. The shower itself was dirty, and its old curtain was filthy and covered in mold. There’s more I could say, but I think the owner knows. If she could manage the apartment properly, we’d definitely return. Fortunately, not all Neapolitans are like that. We’ve already found another place for next year because we love Naples and the Neapolitans.
