Hotel Garden Napoli

We went as a couple and had the best time, sitting on our terrace as the sun went down over the city. It was a huge private terrace with a beautiful view of Naples and the mountains, plus loungers, umbrellas and an outdoor shower. It was very hot when we were there in August, so sitting outside was lovely. You could watch all the activity in the streets below. The area can feel edgy after dark, and I wouldn't suggest it for families, but if you've travelled a lot and keep an eye on your surroundings and belongings, it felt like any busy city. It may not suit you if you want quiet, but we enjoyed being immersed in everyday Italian street life. There are loads of transport links, restaurants, little bars, boutiques and street traders nearby. The room itself was small but had what we needed, including a fridge, towels and toiletries. It was very clean and serviced daily. There wasn't tea or coffee in the room, though coffee was £1 at the little bar downstairs. The lift took an annoyingly long time going up and down. I booked despite being unsure from the reviews, mainly because the price was good and it was central.

I stay here whenever I'm in Napoli. It's close to the central train station and reasonably priced.

A few nights here and it's become our favorite in Naples. The staff were professional and capable, and the receptionist was especially welcoming and helpful. Our room was airy, very clean and had some nice amenities. The big, comfortable bed helped us sleep well, and breakfast was plentiful and really good. Can't recommend it enough!

The hotel was nice and fairly clean, and close to the city centre. But they weren't generous with soap and shampoo. We had to ask more than once just to be able to shower properly. Also, there was only a shower without a wire, which made it really inconvenient for women to rinse off.
