We stayed four nights in the Blue room. When we arrived, no one was there to let us into the building or the door to the rooms. We tried contacting the host and got no answer, then buzzed repeatedly. We were early for check-in and thought we could leave our bags, but that wasn’t possible, so we used a bag storage service. When we came back in the afternoon, nobody was there either. After buzzing and knocking for about 10 minutes, someone finally came. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a mini fridge. The bathroom was clean, with a small shower that had good pressure and hot water, plus both a urinal and toilet. The bed was comfortable and clean. The A/C worked for the first two and a half days, then broke for the rest of our trip, so we had to open the windows. We heard loud noise from other guests or residents several times. Sometimes it came in bursts, and a few times it happened at night, but it wasn’t terrible overall. Breakfast was juice in little cups in the fridge, along with packaged croissants and other kinds of bread. It was nice to have something available all day, and supplies were replenished around 9-10pm. Still, get breakfast early, because some people are greedy and take as much as they can. It’s great value for the low price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location near the station was handy since we used it often.

The breakfast treats were a lovely surprise: chocolate croissants, toast with jam, and coffee, all delicious. We booked at the last minute after a bad experience at PCboutique, where we were asked for a €200 deposit that was never returned. Francesco and his father were kind and polite, and we felt safe and well looked after. It was rainy and cold, so the balcony was nice for a bit of fresh air and we made good use of the air conditioning. They also gave us a map and were thoughtful throughout. The room was small, and you could hear bathrooms and other guests, but those things, along with set check-in times and late fees after 9 or 11 pm, are common in Italy and not unique to this place. I know visitors from America or Latin America may expect something different, but it's another culture. I was nervous after reading the Google comments, but I'm glad we stayed and would definitely come back.

The alleys nearby didn't all feel safe at night, though that's true of any city. Inside, the room was great, and the daily cleaning was exceptionally professional. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hosts were lovely and always happy to make coffee. Da Donallo downstairs was an exceptional restaurant.

The staff were very helpful, and the beds were good. It's a fantastic place near the Central station. I'll stay here again on my next trip to Naples.
