Gianni made us feel very welcome and was helpful throughout our pleasant week at ll Lapillo. I was there with my 8 year old daughter. The room was clean, spacious, and well furnished, and breakfast was good. We could walk to lots of places to eat in five minutes, and Dante M1 station was close by. I just wish the single bed had been made up as well as the double.
The neighborhood felt risky, especially coming back at night on a narrow street where scooters raced past. The owner doesn't speak English, so we had to communicate through Google Translate, which was really inconvenient. The bathroom is halfway across the building, and the floor was freezing with no carpet. Breakfast was croissants, yogurt, and toast with butter.
