I was booking the last available room on Booking.com when I called before completing payment to ask about bringing my dog. The form said “Pets Allowed,” but the owner told me they didn’t accept every dog, only small ones, and said she’d call back in five minutes to confirm. She never called. Instead, she cancelled the last room straight away. Shameful. A reminder to pet owners: up to 20 kg, pets count as small, and if what they advertise doesn’t match what they do, we need to assert our rights!

Pretty basic, but I’m easy to please.

The room was uncomfortable, though the location was great.
