The road noise made it hard for me to sleep on the first night, which was the only part I didn't enjoy. Otherwise, it's a decent hostel in a fairly quiet neighborhood, around 20 minutes from the center. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were reasonably clean. Breakfast is included, with more options than I expected from a hostel. I'd definitely come back.

Even in a 10-bed room, my first hostel stay turned into a pleasant three days. There are plenty of shared spaces, including spots where you can have a little time to yourself. The walls are well insulated, and the room has air conditioning. The bathrooms were pretty clean considering how many people use them. Bring a towel and slippers, though. The museum is a 10-minute walk away, and the metro is 3 minutes away. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day.

I had a wonderful time here, close to Napoli historical center. The staff are relaxed and do a lot to help you feel comfortable, and quite a few of them speak French. The common areas are well equipped, so it's easy to meet people and enjoy hanging out together. Thanks for a great experience! :-)

I kept adding nights because I fell for Naples, and La Controra Hostel was part of that. It’s a great spot for solo travelers and for meeting people, especially around the social eating area. For the price, you get a clean room, breakfast, a kitchen, free bag storage, and a 24-hour reception with kind, helpful staff. Laundry costs €7. The train station is about a 5-minute walk, and the town center is around 20 minutes on foot. There are a few grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. Friends of mine stayed at other hostels in the area, and we all agreed this one was the best.

Calm place with free breakfast, and only a 226m walk from Salvator Rosa, Metro Station. I think this must be the best place to stay in Napoli. The curtains were good, and the lockers came with a padlock on loan at no extra cost.
