Le Mummarelle Apartments

Bright, roomy and clean, with lots of sights within walking distance. The apartment is centrally located.

I hate to leave such a bad review because the apartment itself is beautiful, nicely finished and in a great spot on Via Duomo. But our stay was a really unpleasant experience. There were six of us, four adults, a five-year-old and a nine-month-old. I booked a two-bedroom place on Booking.com: one room with a double bed, the other with a double bed, a sofa bed and a crib, plus a separate living room and kitchen. What we got had only one bedroom, with a living room and kitchen that had a sofa bed. It wasn't what we'd booked. There was no bed for one of us, so someone slept on the regular sofa for two nights, and the crib wasn't there when we arrived. We had to ask for it. We told the staff right away and spoke with four different people, but no one called back over the weekend with another option or a refund for the trouble. As I write this, I'm still waiting for a response. UPDATE: Still no reply after some time, and they even denied that the accommodation we'd been given was different from the one I booked. What a shame.

Really central, and a great apartment. The neighbors were a little noisy, and the shower water pressure was quite weak, typically Italian.

We had a family weekend on Via S. Lucia. The place was comfortable, the staff very helpful, and breakfast was superb. The location was great.
